I was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco in 1972.
I spent my childhood in Puerto Vallarta and ever since I was motivated with my father´s image and his amateur camera, willing to capture every instant of my life. I have always been attracted to art. However the visual art marked and sense of expression. Since I was very young, colors called my attention, light, textures and the stories I was able to make about them. Graphic design and painting were my first means of expression, but it was not until I had my first reflex camera that I found my connection with “The Magic”. I earned my degree in Photography at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara (UAG) and I embraced every opportunity I had to learn different techniques and styles.
I belong to a generation that lived the change from the analog to the digital, and more than just a feeling of missing the dark room, I believe that new digital tools add a plus to creativity. I enjoy every image I create, from a portrait, a dish, a house, an emotion, an unrepeatable moment to the greatness of a landscape. I pretend to photograph far beyond any rule that is not my personal vision, without parameters, with sense of humor and spontaneity. I want to inspire others with the beauty I find in the everyday elements of life and nature. I enjoy life with camera in hand.
